This is a series of 12 a5 drawings.

Its literary a portrait study of the city vagabond.
He is a recurring figure and theme in all of my visual art.
I conceptualised him around about 2004 as a reaction to me finding my way in the arts, living in the JHB inner city and struggling with my social-political identity.

I wanted to include this as part of the show as a way to re-introduce my pseudonym and because the city vagabond features throughout the other artworks.

I use the city vagabond as a storytelling tool.
