These days it’s almost as if every second person in their twenties is an artist, or at least claiming to be one. I tracked down Wesley Pepper; an artist/publisher who is as comfortable working in traditional mediums ranging from charcoal, paint, and pencil, as he is working in digital modes such as web graphic and multimedia design. More importantly though, Wesley is someone who was doing the “art thang”, way before it was the “in thing”. We met up at the Johannesburg Art Gallery to chat about this thing called art, and this is what he had to say….
